nothing could be more iconic and classic than a black and white photoshoot for W in istanbul. this incredible layout by mert alas and marcus piggott brings to life the vibrance of turkey without using an ounce of color. the shapes of the narciso rodriquez, chanel, stella mccartney, balenciaga, louis vuitton, armani and prada clothes don't overpower the historic views of the city, but rather fit in quite perfectly. i find istanbul to be one of the most fascinating and beautiful cities in the world. i am so blessed to have my own piece of turkey in my life (my sister in law).
