as wwd put it, gucci's collection in milan was a crowd pleaser and will become another "commercial winner". target: "the pleasure-seeking Gucci adventurer who wants to escape, and explore.” the colors were neutral hues such as a safari beige mixed with vivid blues, oranges, purples and greens. the day look was far more relaxed than i would have expected from frida giannini, with fedoras and skinny low rise pants and tailored blazers. and she hit a chord with her dramatic night looks, each which had a dramatic large scale flowing nature. both made me want to jump on a yacht to cannes and monte carlo.
