the whole pearl necklace with a ribbon look is back. i never quite caught onto that trend a few years back, and now lanvin is trying to bring it back. well here is the look for less, and a look i like better.

the second picture is j.crew's version of the necklace. i like the use of stones better than the try-hard pearls. i guess i have just left my pearl-wearing-all-girls-prepschool-days behind me. it retails for $55 at j.crew, and you can find it here.
