for any of you who have seen mamma mia (the new movie) then you have subconsciously been bombarded with josef frank fabric. the movie had a scene when they are dancing through clothes lines covered with josef frank's color full linens. the swede designed over 200 patterns between 1909 and 1950 (i wiki-ed it), and today you can find his graphic prints at many scandinavian design stores including svenskt tenn in stockholm, sweden.
why do i bring this up? well, i was in the lobby at the maritime hotel yesterday, and i realized that their couches are covered in his "manhattan" fabric. here is a verrry bad photo. i apologize. i didnt have my camera with me, so i had to use the bberry's camera.
